patience

i have all these thoughts
weighting down on my mind
graduating high school
and moving on again
getting a new job
and getting my first place
always wondering when
ill be able to leave
im in Michigan now
i wanna be in California
its a long way i know
im scared to go alone
and leave my family
i know ill get lost along the way
but im more excited than anything
the anticipation is killing me
